Company Setup

The Company information entered on this tab corresponds to the "MAIN" Sender ID (on the Sender tab) when processing shipments in The Eagle Shipping window. In general, the "MAIN" address is used as the default Sender Address, and to rate packages, when shipping with FedEx Internet, USPS, Airborne, and SpeeDee.

To set up your company in The Eagle:

  1. From The Eagle main menu, select Setup > Company.

  2. Type in your company information, and click OK. The PC that ran The Eagle for the first time entered the company information at startup. However, you can change the information on this tab at any time. Note: If you plan to use the FedEx Ship Alert option, your e-mail address is required on this tab.

  3. Click Yes.

    Note: If your company is in Florida, you will be asked whether you are in Dade or Broward counties because certain International shipments are handled differently from there.

 

The Eagle supports shipping with multiple carrier accounts. Packages are rated based on the Sender ZIP code attached to the carrier account with which you are shipping. See also: Sender Addresses
